Workshop Only, No CCWR Symposium Access

Learn how to safely respond to wildlife emergencies and aid wildlife casualties. The classroom portion covers laws and regulations, human safety, capture strategies, animal handling and restraint, basic wildlife first aid, reducing stress, and transport and temporary housing considerations.

The hands-on portion of the workshop includes instruction on proper set-up and use of equipment and allows attendees to practice capture strategies. While this training is tailored for police, animal control officers, park rangers, game wardens and wildlife rehabilitators, it is also suitable for the novice.

Certificate of Completion included.

General members of the public must be approved by the instructor to attend this class.
