The 29th Annual California Council for Wildlife Rehabilitators will be at the Doubletree by Hilton Santa Ana - Orange County Airport.
Our theme is “Soaring to New Heights” . The past few years have not been easy for anybody. Between the climate crisis, the pandemic and now threats of HPAI wildlife rehabilitators have had to really step up their game to a whole new level. Wildlife is even more vulnerable than ever, but there have been successes!
This year we wanted to take the time to recognize our achievements as a community. This year condors or prey-gon-eesh as known by the Yurok are flying over the redwoods once again. There are wildlife corridors being built in southern California to help our large predators roam once again. Let’s celebrate our successes and recognize the hard work that has allowed miracles to happen!
