The California Council for Wildlife Rehabilitators (CCWR) was established in 1993, at the request of California wildlife rehabilitators, to promote the highest standards of care in wildlife rehabilitation by providing educational and networking opportunities among wildlife rehabilitators and regulatory agencies. The CCWR has an active, working Board of Directors and is looking to expand and strengthen the Board with a new Member-at-Large position. Representation from all six statewide regions has always been a strong objective of CCWR. Applicants must be CCWR members in good standing, able to attend three board meetings per year within California, serve on at least one CCWR committee, and able to focus beyond their local group/region to represent all rehabilitators in all regions within the state of California. All At-Large Board Member positions are for a term of three years. CCWR takes your interest in serving as a Board Member very seriously. Please take some time and complete this application.
